Customer objective
In view of the transition from Genesys Engage to Genesys Cloud, simplification of the Voice Network architecture to optimize the use of the telephone lines of the operators in various countries, maintaining compatibility with the telephone systems (Voice PBX) already in use.
Needs
The creation of a single SBC (Session Border Controller) centralized in the Data Center, in order to manage all voice interconnections between the Genesys Cloud platform, the local PBX systems and the Service Voice Provider lines in the various countries in which the customer operates.
Solution
We implemented two virtual SBCs in HA (High Availability) mode to ensure high availability and disaster recovery, capable of handling roughly 360 simultaneous calls. SBCs interface with local PBXs, voice service providers (Voice SPs), and the Genesys Cloud platform, ensuring seamless and reliable communication.

By leveraging our extensive experience in the sector, we managed to customize the configurations and all the manipulations of the SIP protocol necessary for certification, optimizing all the interactions between the services and the systems in use.
